The Dakar Rally announced that next year's edition will start on Jan. 3 at the Plaza de Mayo square in Buenos Aires and the looped route will end in the same city on Jan. 17, according to LOS ANDES. Dakar Rally Dir Etienne Lavigne said that the race's seventh South American edition will pass through Bolivia and Chile after starting in Argentina. This will be the first time since '12 that Argentina will "host both the start and the finish of the event." The announcement regarding the '15 edition "also served to confirm the return of the Peugeot team" (LOS ANDES, 3/26).
