VICTOR MUÑOZ will replace PACO HERRERA as coach of Spanish second division side Real Zaragoza. Muñoz, who coached the club from '04-06, is "returning home after eight years" (MARCA, 3/18). ...A-League side Melbourne Heart announced the signing of JOHN VAN'T SCHIP as head coach. Van’t Schip, the club's inaugural head coach, re-joined as interim coach in January this year and has agreed to a new three-year contract through the end of the '16-17 season (Melbourne Heart). ... Former Australian Rugby Union CEO GARY FLOWERS is "stepping back into the rugby fray" as chairman of the North Harbour Rays to join the proposed National Rugby Competition. Flowers, who "created the defunct Australian Rugby Championship" in '07, will chair a board "to oversee one of the NRC's most impressive and unlikely alliances" (SYDNEY MORNING HERALD, 3/19).
