The Board of Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management has announced that AL TAREQ AL AMERI has been officially appointed CEO of Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Departing CEO RICHARD CREGAN "will retain an advisory role reporting to the board and will now lead the new F1 Russian Grand Prix." Al Ameri was part of the team that has, in the last five years, "developed the Yas Marina into a community hub for thousands of residents of Abu Dhabi, as well as a venue for significant global gatherings" (GULF NEWS, 3/12).
