ManU Partners With Google+ To Livestream Fans During Liverpool Game

ManU fans "could be seen live on the Old Trafford pitch wherever they are in the world, thanks to a new initiative with Google+," according to the London DAILY MAIL. ManU has partnered with the social media site on Front Row for what the club calls a first in football. During ManU's EPL game against visiting Liverpool on March 16, "a select few could be streamed onto the pitch-side hoardings while they watch the game." The process "is possible via a live Google+ hangout, a popular free service capable of video stream." Fans must share a picture on the site along with the tag #MUFrontRow "to be in a chance of appearing in front of 75,000 fans, plus the millions watching on TV" (DAILY MAIL, 2/28). Each Front Row participant will receive professional photographs of their appearance, as well as a welcome on ManU's Google+ page, shared with nearly 2 million followers (ManU).
