International Tennis Hall Of Fame Names Former Player Todd Martin Next CEO

The Int’l Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI, named former ATP player TODD MARTIN CEO designate. He will take over full-time as CEO for the outgoing MARK STENNING on Sept. 5. Martin will oversee the museum, a $16M renovation and the ATP Tour stop that launches the American summer tennis season. The Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, scheduled to start July 7 in Newport, is the only pro grass court event in the U.S. A former ATP Player Council President, Martin retired in '04. The Hall of Fame had revenue of $10.5M in '12, derived from grants, the tournament, court rentals and museum admissions, according to the group’s most recent tax return. That resulted in a $3.7M surplus. The Hall of Fame paid Stenning $326,880 that year.
