The possibility of Sri Lanka Cricket being "left with a dried up coffer" is what has prompted SLC to "take a U-turn and join the Big three and the rest," according to Sai Prasad Mohapatra of the HINDUSTAN TIMES. The SLC on Monday convened its Exec Committee and decided to "approve the ICC revamp plan" after "due consideration." Sounding "conciliatory after upsetting" the Board of Control for Cricket in India and "dispelling the fear" that SLC's stand might jeopardize its "cordial relationship with the Indian cricket board and hence India's touring prospect to the Island," SLC Secretary Nishantha Ranatunga said, "They are all mature people, I hope that they will understand that the solution to every problem lies through talks and negotiations." The Pakistan Cricket Board is "still to arrive at a consensus yet" after abstaining from the Int'l Cricket Council meeting in Singapore, "citing it requires more time to discuss with its board members." PCB CEO Najam Sethi, who recently replaced Zaka Ashraf, has "called for a managing committee meeting of the PCB later this week." Sethi: "We can only have a clarity on our stand once we meet this week. Since the next ICC meeting is still some weeks away, we still have time on our hand to convey our position to the ICC" (
