Brasileiro Side Corinthians Renews Sponsorship Deal With Bank Caixa

Brasileiro club Corinthians has renewed its "major sponsorship agreement with state-owned bank Caixa Economica Federal," according to SOCCEREX. The new one-year deal is worth 30M Brazilian reals ($12.5M) to the São Paulo club, "the same amount that was agreed in the previous deal" covering '13. Caixa branding will be visible on the front of Corinthians' Nike-made kits. Caixa currently supports a number of Brazilian football teams, including Flamengo, Vasco, Coritiba, Atlético Paranaense and Figueirense. The Corinthians deal "is, however, the bank’s most expensive partnership" (SOCCEREX, 2/10).
