Marketplace Roundup: Bayern Munich To Play With 'Deutsche Sporthilfe' Logo

Bayern Munich "will play with the logo of charity organization 'Deutsche Sporthilfe' on its jersey during the Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen on March 15." The club "will donate the net proceeds from the sale of the limited-edition jersey to the organization" (ABENDZEITUNG MÜNCHEN, 2/10). ... Second Bundesliga club FC Cologne has extended its deals with beer partners Gaffel and Bitburger for another three years. In addition, the club added a third beer partner in Reissdorf. The club was able to notably increase its sponsorship volume in the beer area due to the new contracts (FC Cologne). ... Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Golf Association announced a new partnership. The three-year agreement sees Mercedes-Benz become the exclusive car partner of the HKGA and title sponsor of the annual HKGA Mercedes-Benz Classic, an amateur golf tournament for men and women at Discovery Bay Golf Club in March (HKGA). ... SPORTFIVE, the int'l sports marketing agency owned by Lagardère Unlimited, has been appointed the official hospitality agency for the 2015 Rugby World Cup. The agreement has been signed with Rugby Travel & Hospitality and includes the hospitality sales rights in France (SPORTFIVE).
