Event Notes: ATP Announces Extended Grass-Court Campaign For '15 Men's Season

The ATP announced the schedule for the '15 men's tennis season, which features an "extended three-week grass-court campaign" that will provide the "build up to Wimbledon." As well as the "likes of the Queen's Club in London and Halle, grass tournaments in Nottingham and Stuttgart have been added to the programme" (SPORTS MOLE, 2/10). ... V8 Supercars have adopted a Formula 1-style "double-points decider among key changes to enliven the major support races at next month's Australian Grand Prix." The final of four V8 races at the "Albert Park street circuit from March 14-16 will be worth twice as many points as an added incentive to drivers" (SMH, 2/11). ... Rio de Janeiro "will host its second NBA exhibition match in October." NBA Brazil Managing Dir Arnon de Mello said that the "teams and date will be confirmed next month" (XINHUA, 2/9).
