Porsche brand ambassador Maria Sharapova has "unveiled her personal interpretation of the Panamera GTS." Sharapova's custom Panamera GTS was presented during her visit to Sochi and features "a white, high-gloss exterior with black LED headlights, tinted LED tail lights, black exhaust tip covers and 20-inch black wheels." To "make it truly unique to Sharapova however, the carbon fiber door sills now feature individual 'Maria Sharapova' lettering" (AUTOGUIDE, 2/7). ... Scottish Rugby confirmed that car retailers Peter Vardy Ltd. will become the organization’s new vehicle partner. The partnership will see Peter Vardy Ltd. join Scottish Rugby on a three-year deal. As part of the relationship, Peter Vardy Ltd. will provide Scottish Rugby with a fleet of Vauxhall vehicles (Scottish Rugby). ... Bundesliga side Werder Bremen and Wiesenhof, the family-owned company from Visbek, have extended their sponsorship agreement ahead of time by an additional two years until June 30, 2016. The extension was negotiated in cooperation with Werder Bremen’s marketing partner Infront Sports & Media (Infront). ... A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers revealed Visy as its major corporate partner for the upcoming AFC Asian Champions League. Visy, on the back of its expansion plans into Asia and its focus on increasing its brand visibility across the broader Asian market, has increased its partnership level with the club by agreeing to be featured on the front of shirt for the club's '14 ACL campaign (Western Sydney Wanderers). ... F1 team Sahara Force India "has expanded its driver development programme by teaming up with Hilmer Motorsport for the 2014 GP2 season." The team said in a statement, "The new partnership will see Facu Regalia and Daniel Abt race on the GP2 grid in the colours of Sahara Force India in the Hilmer Motorsport GP2 car" (IANS, 2/7).
