Facility Notes: Stade De Suisse Will Not Extend Catering Contract With Meat Producer Bell

Stade de Suisse, home of Swiss Super League club Young Boys Bern, and meat producer Bell will not extend their catering contract, which is set to expire in the summer of '15. The club "is talking to Bell to take over the catering rights ahead of time." Stade de Suisse COO Alain Kappeler said, "We are expecting higher revenue and more flexibility in regards to the product range at the Stade de Suisse from the new solution" (DER BUND, 1/29). ... The Uganda Baseball and Softball Association unveiled its historic new stadium, the National Friendship Stadium, just north of capital Kampala in Gayaza on Saturday. The official opening ceremony took place only a little more than a year after the $122,175 official grant was awarded by the Embassy of Japan in Uganda (WBSC).
