NBA Kings Ink Deal With Indian Development Company, Including TV Game Ads

The NBA Sacramento Kings on Thursday announced that they "have agreed to a corporate sponsorship with Indian development company The Krrish Group," according to Ryan Lillis of the SACRAMENTO BEE. The Kings "continue to expand their links" to India following the purchase of the franchise by Kings Managing Partner Vivek Ranadive, who is a native of the country. The team said that the deal will include advertisements during game broadcasts promoting The Krrish Group's partnership with Jimboy’s Tacos in India, as well as ads "inside Sleep Train Arena and on digital platforms -- including the Kings’ Hindi-language website." The Kings said that they "expect to announce more partnerships with Indian companies" in '14. Meanwhile, Friday's game versus the Heat is one of several Kings games this season that "will be broadcast in India" (SACRAMENTO BEE, 12/27).
