BMW has appointed STEFANIE WURST "as its new head of marketing of BMW Germany." The 45-year-old, who previously worked as a director on the board of agency group Scholz & Friends, will replace JOHANNES SEIBERT on Feb. 1. Seibert "will leave Germany for Dubai to assume the position of BMW Group Middle East managing director" (HORIZONT, 11/29). ... Equatorial Guinea national football coach ANDONI GOIKOETXEA has renewed his contract for two years. Following the "contract extension, Goikoetxa will remain with the team" through '15 (EFE, 12/2). ... Malaysia Cup champion football side Pahang has named RON SMITH "as their new coach." Smith, a former technical analyst for the Australian national team, is "no stranger to Malaysian football," having coached Sabah ('95-97) and Johor FC ('98-99) (THE STAR, 12/2).
