Media Notes: ManU Launches New Deal With SPOTV To Bring MUTV To Korea

ManU announced that "it has signed a three-year agreement with SPOTV to bring the club's dedicated TV channel, MUTV, to Korea." SPOTV, operated by Eclat Entertainment, was launched in '10 and "is one of the fastest-growing sports channels in Korea." The channel now "reaches more than nine million households" (MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS, 12/2). ... The Gulf News Broadcasting team will bring listeners "the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters being held under the patronage of Princess Haya Bint Al Hussain." Reaching an estimated 3.8 million listeners through its comprehensive bouquet of stations, the communication venture of Al Nisr Publishing LLC "is well known for its coverage of social and sporting events." As part of the agreement, GN Broadcasting "will air interviews with players, fans, officials and dignitaries, capturing the essence of the season-ending Ladies European Tour" (GULF NEWS, 12/2).
