Venezuela national football team Manager CÉSAR FARÍAS "has stepped down." Farías tweeted, "I want to publicly express my decision to resign from my position." It has been "reported in Mexico that Farías that will take over as coach of Liga MX side Tijuana" (MARCA, 11/30). ... CARMEL MCGREGOR has joined the Super Rugby League side ACT Brumbies board. Not only will she become the first female member of the Brumbies board "but also the only representative of the public sector, which makes her a crucial link between the Super Rugby runners-up and government" (CANBERRA TIMES, 11/30). ... Mercedes Team Principal ROSS BRAWN "is to leave Mercedes at the end of the year." Brawn "is standing down following changes to the management structure." Exec Directors TOTO WOLFF and PADDY LOWE "will lead the team." The Englishman said organizational changes meant the team was "uniquely positioned to succeed in 2014" and that he was "proud to have helped lay the foundations for that success" (BBC, 11/27).
