Franchise Notes: TPL Club Pattaya United Manager Says Side Could Be For Sale

Thai Premier League club Pattaya United Manager Sombat Pinyasiri said that the club "could be up for sale" if it is relegated. The Blue Dolphins "are on the verge of going down to League One with one match to go in the TPL season" (BANGKOK POST, 10/30). ... League One side Tranmere Rovers has confirmed that it is "in discussions with several interested parties over the sale of the club." The Rovers said in a statement, "Further to recent press coverage regarding the sale of Tranmere Rovers, a spokesman at Prenton Park confirms that the club is in communication with a number of interested parties, all of whom have entered into Non-Disclosure Agreements" (SKY SPORTS, 10/29).
