F1 Qualifying Session Draws High Ratings On RTL; Average Numbers For Women's Football

German free-to-air TV channel RTL "received strong ratings for its broadcast of Saturday's F1 qualifying session," according to David Grzeschik of QUOTENMETER. A total of 1.84 million viewers tuned in to watch the session starting at 3pm German time. The number translated into a market share of 16.1%. In the target demographic 14-49, the qualifying session for the Singapore Grand Prix attracted 620,000 viewers and had a 13.1% market share. Ahead of the qualifying session, the free practice was watched by 1.43 million viewers and recorded a 10.7% share in the target demographic (QUOTENMETER, 9/22).

WOMEN'S FOOTBALL: QUOTENMETER's Grzeschik also reported German public broadcaster ZDF "received average ratings for its broadcast of the women's World Cup qualifier between Germany and Russia on Saturday." A total of 1.3 million viewers tuned in to watch the game starting at 3pm. The number equaled a 11.2% market share. In the target demographic, Germany's 9-0 victory attracted 180,000 viewers and had a 3.8% share (QUOTENMETER, 9/22).
