The resignation of Christian Meidlinger and his wife "seems to be the result of the long-term conflict" with Austrian swimmer DINKO JUKIC (Ö24, 8/4). ... JESÚS RAMÍREZ has been hired as the coach of Costa Rica's junior national football teams. In this role, Ramírez will lead Costa Rica's U15, U17 and U20 teams. CHO BEOM-HYUN, who guided South Korean baseball club Kia Tigers to a championship in '09, has been named manager of expansion club KT Wiz on Friday. KHUNYING PATAMA LEESWADTRAKUL was on Saturday named Badminton Association of Thailand President, replacing CHAROEN WATTANASIN.
