The German Touring Car Championship (DTM) "is reportedly close to returning to France in '14," according to Dominik Sharaf of MOTORSPORT TOTAL. While the DTM "is busy working to put on races in China and the Gulf region, its presence in Europe could be increased in the upcomming season." Circuit President Yannick Morizot, who recently poured more than €4M ($5.3M) into the modernization of the course, said, "Everything should be done within the next 10 days. There are only little differences remaining" (MOTORSPORT TOTAL, 7/16).
