Australia's Adelaide Oval Chooses NCR Corporation For Venue Management Solution

Technology company NCR Corporation announced an agreement with Adelaide Oval SMA Ltd. to deploy the NCR venue management solution at Adelaide sports ground Adelaide Oval, "as part of the major redevelopment currently underway," according to the FORT MILL TIMES. At "the heart of the solution is NCR Venue Manager," a point-of-sale and reporting system that has been "deployed in more than 200 stadiums and arenas globally." Adelaide Oval will undergo a A$535M ($488M) redevelopment in October, with "a vast range of bars, restaurants, dining rooms, corporate boxes and concession stands to cater for capacity crowds up to 50,000 fans" (FORT MILL TIMES, 7/8).
