Olympics Notes: IOC Asks IOA To Submit Amendments Proposals

The IOC asked the Indian Olympic Association to coordinate and "submit all amendment proposals to the world body" by no later than June 12 so the process of lifting the ban on India "could be started at the earliest" (PTI, 6/4). ... Lanes specially reserved for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games "will be prepared by the end of the year." Organizing Committee member Andrei Zhukov said, "Only accredited vehicles will be able to travel in the some 370-km long Olympic lanes" (XINHUA, 6/4).
