Olympics Notes: Sochi Olympics To Conduct 2,500 Doping Tests In February

Organizers for the 2014 Sochi Olympics said Thursday that 2,500 doping tests "will be conducted at the Winter Games next February, surpassing the total at the Vancouver Games four years ago" (R-SPORT, 5/23). ... The Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) has directed the concerned officials of Army, Air Force, Navy, Wapda, HEC, Railways and Police Sports Directorates/Boards not to participate in the so-called National Athletics Championship, being held May 24 at Islamabad (PAKISTAN TODAY, 5/22).
