Following the Germany-Slovakia game, Sport1 showed parts of the 2013 IIHF World Championship matchup between Switzerland and the Czech Republic. The game, which aired at 5:30pm, attracted 170,000 viewers and obtained a 1.4% share. In the target demographic, Switzerland's 5-2 victory was watched by 60,000 viewers, which equaled a 1.4% market share. In addition, Sport1 showed the 2nd Bundesliga game between Braunschweig and Cottbus. The 0-0 draw attracted 660,000 viewers and obtained a 2.2% share.
