Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt "took the option and extended its contract" with Sports Dir BRUNO HÜBNER for another year. The 52-year-old, whose contract is set to expire at the end of June, "announded the news at Sunday's 2-0 loss against Augsburg" (N-TV, 4/15). ... Former Super Rugby club ACT Brumbies CEO ROB CLARKE has agreed to become the Melbourne Rebels' interim CEO (THE AUSTRALIAN, 4/18). ... Premiership rugby side Worcester Warriors have named former England number eight DEAN RYAN director of rugby. The 46-year-old former Gloucester and Bristol coach was part of Scotland's forwards coaching set-up under SCOTT JOHNSON during this year's Six Nations. He "will take over at Sixways after this season's final Premiership game against London Welsh" on May 4 (BBC, 4/17). ... Super League rugby club St. Helens have appointed former head coach MIKE RUSH as CEO at Langtree Park. Rush took over first-team affairs last term after ROYCE SIMMONS' departure (BBC, 4/16).
