Premier Sports To Broadcast IIHF World Championship In U.K. For First Time

The 2013 Int'l Ice Hockey Federation World Championship will for the first time be broadcast live on TV in the U.K. and Ireland after reaching an agreement with Premier Sports. Premier Sports, which operates on the British Sky platform, will show 20 games of the 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship taking place in Stockholm and Helsinki with a live game most days between May 3-19. In addition, Premier Sports has acquired the rights to show all games of Team Great Britain, playing in the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division I Group A carried out in Budapest between April 14-21. The games against Hungary, Kazakhstan, Italy, Japan and South Korea will be broadcast live (Infront Sports & Media).
