British Touring Car Championship Extends Broadcast Deal With ITV Until '17

The ITV network will continue to broadcast live free-to-air TV coverage of the MSA British Touring Car Championship through '17. The three-year extension was signed with one year of the current agreement still remaining. This secures the BTCC’s ITV broadcasting agreement for the next four seasons. All BTCC race days will continue to be broadcast live on both ITV4, ITV4 HD and online at itv.com. Live coverage from each event will be screened for seven hours (11am-6pm) and is unique in U.K. motor sport. The 60-minute race highlights programs will also continue on ITV, ITV HD, ITV4 and ITV4 HD in the week following each live event. These will be repeated three times and are also available to view for 30 days after broadcast via the online ITV Player (BTCC).
