Media Notes: Eurosport Will Broadcast Women's Bundesliga Game

Pan-European broadcaster Eurosport "has acquired media rights to the women's Bundesliga and will broadcast its first women's Bundesliga game on March 30." Eurosport "will show the game between Bayern Munich and Turbine Potsdam and depending on the game's ratings, the channel might add additional matches." Eurosport and the German Football Federation (DFB) "are currently in talks about a further involvement of the channel" (REVIER SPORT, 3/12). ... Netball's ANZ Championship "has a new broadcast partner after SBS agreed to telecast games." SBS will show a game live each week and has also programmed a highlights package, starting from the opening round on March 24 (NEWS LTD. NETWORK, 3/14).
