Marketplace Roundup: Brisbane Broncos, Hyundai Agree To Three-Year Sponsorship Deal

National Rugby League Brisbane Broncos have agreed to a new three-year sponsorship deal with Hyundai. To celebrate the team's 25th anniversary, the automaker will give away two cars to Broncos' members (Brisbane Broncos). ... Brazilian football club Palmeiras has agreed to a contract with communications agency Press FC. The two-year deal will see the company serve in a consulting role to the club's communications department (MAQUINA DO ESPORTE, 2/8). ... Cricket Ireland has named Toyota its new car sponsor. The three-year deal will see Toyota provide a fleet of vehicles to Cricket Ireland, including the Avensis and the Auris, to support the operational and business needs of Cricket Ireland, and to also support the strategic development program for the sport in Ireland (Cricket Ireland). ... Turkish Airlines has announced its sponsorship of Stena Match Cup Sweden, the third stage of the Alpari World Match Racing Tour (Turkish Airlines). ... Essex County Cricket Club announced an extension of its partnership with insurance company Amlin. Under the terms of the new three-year deal, Amlin will continue as the club’s main sponsor and its logo will appear on the club’s county championship and T20 match shirts, as well as the player’s training apparel (Essex County Cricket Club).
