Twitter Me This...

Premier League QPR Manager HARRY REDKNAPP has urged QPR Chair TONY FERNANDES "to get off Twitter," according to Darren Lewis of the London DAILY MIRROR. Redknapp "made the plea after the Loftus Road supremo found himself on the end of a stream of abuse from his own club's fans following the shock 4-2 home defeat to MK Dons." Redknapp said, "The only advice I'd give Tony is get off Twitter. If you don't want to know what people think about you on Twitter, don't be on Twitter." After the loss and getting dropped from the FA Cup, Fernandes "sent out his customary tweets thanking the supporters for their backing." However, he also wrote: "Many fans attacking me. Doing our best" (DAILY MIRROR, 1/28).

Spanish tennis player RAFAEL NADAL: "All my support and strength to the affected of the fire in #Brazil. This kind of situation should not happen again!"

AP's STEVE WILSON: "It's official: Dutch Queen Beatrix is abdicating. IOC member Crown Prince Willem-Alexander (Prince of Orange) to become king." ... "By my count, that would give the IOC one king, five princes, three princesses, two sheiks and one grand duke as active members."
