All India Football Federation President PRAFUL PATEL was "unanimously reelected" at its Annual General Meeting on Thursday. All of the members were elected unopposed. Goa-based industrialist SRINIVAS DEMPO (west), KMI MATHER (south), SUBHASH CHOPRA (north) and LARSING SAWYAN (northeast) are the new VPs, while SUBRATA DUTTA "will be enjoying his third term as VP" (IANS, 12/20). ... The Australian Rugby Union "has denied there is discontent in the ranks after a second high-profile resignation in 10 weeks," with High Performance Manager DAVID NUCIFORA departing Thursday. Nucifora "was a close ally" of former Managing Dir & CEO JOHN O'NEILL, who stood down in October. ARU acting CEO MATT CARROLL said that Thursday night's change "was a natural part of any organisation" (DAILY TELEGRAPH, 12/21). ... League One club Crawley Town has appointed RICHARD LOW as its CEO. He will take over from ALAN WILLIAMS (Crawley Town). ...
