Sports psychiatrist DR. STEVE PETERS, the so-called "mind mechanic" of British Cycling who has been credited by CHRIS HOY and VICTORIA PENDLETON as the man behind their Olympic triumphs, will turn his attention to Britain’s leading track and field athletes, according to Simon Hart of the London TELEGRAPH. Newly appointed U.K. Athletics Performance Dir NEIL BLACK hired Peters with the objective of creating a "winning culture" in the sport as well as consulting closely with selected athletes.
