This number translates into an overall market share of 22.6%. In addition, ARD's recap of Germany's 3rd League attracted 2.82 million viewers or a 17.2% share at 6pm (QUOTENMETER.de, 10/7). QUOTENMETER's German free-to-air TV channel kabel eins obtained "outstanding ratings" for its broadcast of the Europa League match between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Fenerbahce Istanbul on Thursday. During the game's first half, "a total of 2.7 million viewers or a 8.7% market share tuned in to watch Fenerbahce's 4-2 victory." In the second half, kabel eins attracted "an even larger crowd." A total of 2.87 million or a 12.5% share watched the second half, which started at 10:05pm CEST (QUOTENMETER.de, 10/5).
