Media Notes: The Ryder Cup Will Get 30 Hours On Sky

German pay-TV channel Sky "will show 30 hours of live coverage from the Ryder Cup this weekend." The continental golf competition between the U.S. and Europe will be played at the Medinah Country Club just outside of Chicago. Sky will broadcast the first 16 duels in foursome and fourball live starting at 2:10pm CEST on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday the pay-TV channel will show the final 12 single matches starting a 5:50pm CEST (SID, 9/26). ... The German Football League (DFL) advertised for bids the collection of official game data for the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga and the Supercup for another four years. The offer includes besides the collection of game data, starting with the '13-14 season, additional game-data related performances and products. The successful bidder will also receive non-exclusive rights to market the official game data (DFL).
