German Pay-TV Channel Sport1+ Extended Its Broadcasting Rights Deal With The NFL

German pay-TV channel Sport1+ "extended its broadcasting rights deal with the NFL for another season," according to Manuel Weis of QUOTENMETER.de. Sport1+ started its '12 NFL coverage Wednesday with the league's season opening game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. Sport1+ "will show up to three games per game day plus the Monday night game." This means Sport1+ will live broadcast "about 68 games during the regular season." In addition, the channel's subscribers will be able to see "all 10 NFL playoff games as well as the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl XLVII" (QUOTENMETER.de, 9/5).
