Ki Sung-Yueng Could Become EPL's Most Expensive Korean Transfer

SPL club Celtic FC accepted the bid of EPL club Swansea City for Korean footballer Ki Sung-yueng, and the reported transfer fee "could make the midfielder the most expensive Korean player ever" to play in the league, according to Robert Lee of the KOREA HERALD. The club will reportedly pay around £6M ($9.5M). Before the bid for Ki, Park Ji-sung "boasted the highest transfer fee for a Korean player" at £5M for his move from ManU to QPR. Ki could potentially "be the most expensive move for Swansea City as well," as striker Danny Graham's £3.5M transfer fee currently ranks as No. 1 (KOREA HERALD, 8/22).
