Travel Website Expedia Partners With English Football Officials To Increase Exposure In Asia
Travel website Expedia has signed a deal to become "the official sponsor of Professional Game Match Officials Ltd." (PGMO), according to ASIASPONSORSHIPNEWS.com. The one-year deal covers the Barclays Premier League, the npower Football League, The FA Cup, the Capital One Cup and other domestic, professional matches. The deal is said to provide "exposure through 2,500 professional football matches and to a potential TV audience in excess of 5 billion people." The deal also provides a range of promotional rights including shirt and training-wear branding on all professional match referees, assistant referees and fourth officials, as well as branding and accreditation on all publicity material, PGMO and all governing body websites (ASIASPONSORSHIPNEWS.com).
