Luxury Golf Courses In Vietnam, Czech Republic To Open

Project management firm IGRM has handed over the completed Laguna Lang Co golf course in Vietnam to the developers "to prepare for opening," according to GOLF COURSE ARCHITECTURE. The course was designed by Nick Faldo's practice and has been in developmental stages for several years. IGRM oversaw the development of the course, practice facilities and all golf-related infrastructure, as well as advising on maintenance facilities, equipment and grass procurement. The course is located on a 280-acre beachfront site within an hour’s drive of Da Nang and Phu Bai int'l airports. In addition to the golf course, the plan is for Laguna Hue to "eventually boast seven hotels, a spa, resort residences and a town centre with retail and recreational facilities." IGRM will continue to work on its other existing projects, including the soon-to-be-opened Harrow Park Golf Club in Abuja, Nigeria the Villafranca Golf Resort in northern Tuscany, and the Rio de Janeiro Int'l Resort in Brazil (GOLF COURSE ARCHITECTURE, 8/7).
