Basketball Australia has appointed sports administrator and former CEO SCOTT DERWIN as its new Chair of the board. Derwin will begin his new role on Aug. 16, replacing acting Chair JUSTIN MILNE, who will resume his position as Chair of the National Basketball League Commission and non-Exec Dir of BA (BA). ... Australian Football League Port Adelaide President BRETT DUNCANSON resigned just a day after the club sacked its coach "following the embarrassing loss" to Greater Western Sydney.
