French Broadcaster Canal+ Agrees To Two-Year Deal For Rights To 30 National Teams

French broadcaster Canal+ "announced the acquisition" of int'l matches for more than 30 national teams including Portugal, Croatia, Serbia, Czech Republic and Greece, according to ITRNEWS.com. The deal is for the next two years and the games will be shown on Foot+. The agreement includes home games, friendlies and all 2014 World Cup qualifying matches for the 30 squads. Individuals subscribed to Foot+ will now have access to more than 700 European and int'l matches each season. The 30 national teams that are part of the deal are: Croatia, Serbia, Belgium, Macedonia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Armenia, Malta, Turkey, Romania, Hungria, Estonia, Andorra, Slovenia, Switzerland, Island, Portugal, Israel, Northern Ireland, Azerbaijan, Luxemburg, Greece, Slovakia, Bosnia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Moldavia, San Marino, Belarus, Georgia and Finland (ITRNEWS.com, 8/4).
