Bulgarian Ludogorets Razgrad "have complained to UEFA" about incidents that took place during their 3-2 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in a Champions League qualifying match. The club claimed that some of their officials were "victims of racial abuse and offensive chants while cups of beers and other objects were thrown at them" in the main stand of the Maksimir stadium. The team also accused German referee Felix Zwayer of "favouring their Croatian opponents" (REUTERS, 7/31).

TOUGH BREAK: Less than a month after winning their first Copa Libertadores, Corinthians FC "damaged the trophy while transporting it." The top of the trophy was damaged, and the "little footballer" that is suppose to stand on top broke off (UOL.com.br, 7/31).
