Sports marketing agency Total Sports Asia hired Eurosport Media Rights Acquisitions & Sales Manager JULIEN MILLEREUX as its new Sales & Acquisitions Dir Millereux worked with Eurosport for eight years (TSA). ... The German Football Association (DFB) has named ROBIN DUTT as Sporting Dir. Dutt will begin his four-year contract on Aug. 1. Dutt replaces MATTHIAS SAMMER, who left at the start of July to become Sporting Dir at Bundesliga Bayern Munich. Dutt will be responsible for youth and talent development, as well as the DFB's coaching programs. The 47-year-old previously managed fellow league clubs Bayer Leverkusen and SC Freiburg (UEFA). ... Int'l Federation of Volleyball (FIVB) President WEI JIZHONG will step down after only one term of four years. Wei said that the decision would allow him to "make sure that this year's elections are the most transparent the FIVB has had" (SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST, 7/25). ... Former ICC CEO HAROON LORGAT is "tipped to join Sri Lanka Cricket as a consultant." Lorgat is expected to "assist the board in revamping its domestic cricket structure, as well as potentially advising it on finances and governance." Lorgat served in his position for four years before stepping down at the end of June this year (PTI, 7/25).
