The remodeling costs for the Santiago Bernabéu stadium will be "close to" €200M ($241.7M), according to ECODIARIO.es. Real Madrid FC "hopes that the new and revolutionary" Santiago Bernabéu will be ready by '15 and "guarantees that it will not be recognizable from its current appearance." The novelties expected in the reform include: the refurbishment of part of the façade, the enlargement of the third amphitheater, a retractable roof, a cover for the entire façade to give it a more modern look, and a shopping center in Madrid's La Castellana.
