La Roja Jerseys And Kits Experiencing An Increase In Demand

The jerseys and kits of Spain's national football team continue to be "in more demand than ever," according to ECODIARIO.es. The latest titles, including the Euro 2012 win over Italy, "have led to an increase in devotion to 'La Roja', and as a result a 'boom' in sales and all the 'merchandising' related to it." Spain's sponsor, adidas, has taken advantage of the situation and come out with more Spanish products. The German company started selling Spain Republic jerseys for those who "are sympathetic with the national spirit, but that do not agree with the monarchical system that prevails in the country." Sales for this shirt have "increased 40% compared to last year" and the company responsible for the distribution has already "ensured that their sales do not only occur within the national territory." Requests for shipments are coming in from other countries such as England, Italy and Germany (ECODIARIO.es, 7/7).
