Four Olympic Park McDonald's On High Security

Security surrounding the food supply at four McDonald’s in London's Olympic Park is "at high alert," according to Jacquelin Magnay of the TELEGRAPH. McDonald's Olympic Supply Head Michele Banik-Rake said the level of care surrounding the supply chain of all of the food for the four restaurants in Olympic Park “had escalated to high alert because of security and safety." Banik-Rake said, “All of the trucks are unmarked, all of the drivers accredited to the Olympic Park have had background checks. We are taking everything as a possible threat and so we are implementing a number of steps and precautions" (TELEGRAPH, 6/26).
