Tyson Fury defeated Tom Schwarz via second round TKO last night in front of 9,102 fans at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which is about "half the arena's capacity." Fury's win over the "terribly overmatched" Schwarz, "didn't prove anything -- regardless of how good Fury looked." In addition, James Brown's "Living in America," an ode to Apollo Creed's "fateful ring walk in 'Rocky IV,'" played as Fury entered. Fury even "walked through a sea of showgirls also wearing the colors" of the U.S., "just like Creed" (THEATHLETIC.com, 6/15).
