Phillies Update Marks, Reveal New Primary Logo For '19

The Phillies are "updating their look" for the '19 season, as the Majestic Clubhouse Store's Twitter "posted a video Friday revealing T-shirts with the team's new primary logo printed on them." The new logo "isn't a dramatic change from the one the club has has in place" since '92. The "Phillies" wordmark "remains intact along with the Liberty Bell behind it, albeit with a greater focus on it." The two "major changes are a switch to a darker shade of blue and the removal of the baseball diamond that used to surround the logo" (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 12/9).
