Trump Gets Mostly Positive Reaction At Army-Navy Game

President Trump attended yesterday's Army-Navy game and received "mostly positive responses" inside Lincoln Financial Field and "outside among bar patrons and tailgaters." Trump "officiated the coin toss" and got "applause from fans, with a reprise at halftime when he crossed the field from the Army side to the Navy side." Boos were "noticeably absent" (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 12/9). Trump was the 10th "sitting president to attend Army-Navy." President Obama was the "most recent president to attend the game" in '11 at FedExField. Trump also attended the '16 game as president-elect (ESPN.com, 12/8). This year's game saw a crowd of 66,729 (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 12/9).
