Cormier-Miocic Fight Draws Well For UFC 226 In Las Vegas

UFC 226 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas "drew an announced sold-out attendance of 17,464 for a live gate of $5,677,238.21." Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier "knocked out" Stipe Miocic in the main card. The "largest attendance mark for a UFC show at T-Mobile" came at UFC 207, which drew 18,533 attendees. Last night marked the "10th UFC event" at T-Mobile Arena (MMAJUNKIE.com, 7/8).

Meanwhile, the Bucks' new arena "will host" a UFC event on Dec. 15. Milwaukee "has not hosted a UFC event" since '13 (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 7/8). Also, the UFC will "officially celebrate its 25th anniversary where it all began" in Denver. The official UFC Fight Night anniversary show "will be held at the Pepsi Center" on Nov. 19 and be broadcast live on FS1 (DENVERPOST.com, 7/7).
