The N.Y. TIMES MAGAZINE's Binyamin Appelbaum writes F LeBron James "is certainly a good investment for the Cavaliers," but Cleveland boosters envision "a LeBron stimulus that enriches the city as a whole." But "kings do not rule forever," and Cleveland "has just a few years to capitalize" on James' stardom.

SI.com's Grant Wahl reported the "genesis moment of MLS' newest team" -- LAFC, set to debut in '17 -- came during the '12 Global Sports Summit when Henry Nguyen met with MLS Commissioner Don Garber and asked whether there could be "an opportunity to invest in or own a team." Nguyen "couldn't let go of the thought" and "reached out" to Global Sports Summit co-Creator Tom Penn, who would become the second principal owner of LAFC.
