NFL Divisional Overnights: Fox Up For Seahawks' Win; Pats' Blowout Down On CBS

Fox drew a 19.5 overnight rating for yesterday afternoon's Seahawks-Saints NFC Divisional playoff game, up 4% from the net's 49ers-Packers game in primetime last year. It is the net's second-best overnight for a Saturday Divisional game since the '97 Packers-49ers game (20.2 overnight). Seahawks-Saints drew a 48.4 local rating in Seattle-Tacoma and a 51.1 rating in New Orleans. Meanwhile, CBS earned a 19.4 overnight for the Patriots-Colts AFC Divisional playoff game last night, down 10% from last year's Ravens-Broncos game, which was played in the afternoon window (THE DAILY).

Comcast said that of its 1 million cable-TV subscribers in Western Washington, about 13,000 residential customers and 200 business customers "had no service" for the entirety of yesterday's Seahawks-Saints game due to "high winds and driving rain" (SEATTLE TIMES, 1/12).
